We specialize in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. Internal medicine is the medical specialty concerned with the diagnosis, management and non surgical treatment of unusual or serious diseases. Because their patients are often seriously ill or require complex investigations, internists do much of their work in office and in hospitals.
Doctors of internal medicine focus on adult medicine and have special study and training focusing on the prevention and treatment of adult diseases. Internists are sometimes called the "doctor's doctor" because they are often called to act as consultants to other physicians to help solve puzzling diagnostic problems.
